This Gallery is intended to cover the railways of the UK which are not featured in their own regional galleries (Scotland, Northumbria, Wales and the West Country) and therefore covers mainly the Midlands and South. There are images from the 1960's to the present illustrating the great changes that have affected our railway system over the last 40 years.
Privatisation especially on the freight side has recently seen the demise of many of our favourite locomotives, but in these archives they live on!
